Privacy

Facebook has a lot of users information on their database. They sell those information to other companies who need it. Some of privacy information will come out too. People can't hide anything on Internet. One can steal picture from another one's Facebook page when they are not even friend. This person can use this picture to do anything that may damage another person's interest. So only way to prevent some privacy information or some information you care to be stolen by others is don't put it online.

  1. Hi Can,

Reading your post made me really self-conscious because what you said is very true. It is scary just how much of ourselves we put out there without realizing the consequences, especially considering that what we put up usually stays up. This is not limited to pictures that we post, but also videos and pictures that we set as stories, which usually cover what we have been doing over the last 24 hours. With that said, even though it is difficult to stop people from enjoying their time online, we can definitely raise awareness so that people know what they are getting into, as well as the risks that come with it.

    All the best,

    Nanar

  2. Hey Can, you're absolutely right about how easy it is for strangers to steal information from our social media accounts like our pictures. This happens to a lot of people and it's also how "cat-fishing" occurs. It's hard to avoid making sure what we put out there isn't stolen, therefore we must all be aware of what we post online.
