Social network sites are big part of our social life today. There are lots of social network site on the web like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and WeChat.
Facebook is one of the most popular social network site in the world, it was founded in 2004. Millions of people use it and even some big corporations may look at your Facebook file before hiring you. Facebook is pretty easy for its user. You can post a video, a word comment, or even an advertisement and little games. Lots of information flow in Facebook, you can choose what to read and see. You can follow your friend's information. Check out what he/she is doing these days and comment about it.

It mainly focus on people post tweets and comment it and share it.  Less disturb information give people better environment to focus on what their friends post and give them feedback. it's more communication on words rather than any other information.
YouTube is kind of different social network compare to Facebook and Twitter. it mainly focus on video. People share their video and others comment on it and share it. They use video to bring same type of people together under a video post. They may not know each other before but one video bring them together. Its new way to know a new friend and by using this way, you know there are some common interest between these people.
Last one is WeChat. it's a Chinese social network site which is similar to Facebook and fully spread in China. Almost everyone in China us WeChat. It has many function. posting by word, picture, video and advertisement can all be done at WeChat. You can live chat by word or voice or video to your friends. You can also form a group and chat. One important thing that different from all three social network sites above is it got a wallet system. You can use WeChat to pay many things in China. It's like Apple pay, where you can just use your phone to scan their code to pay the fee.

  1. Agree with all your assessments. I find it interesting how YouTube is now considered a social media platform: Beforehand it was just a form of video sharing.
